WHISTLER WINTER ACTIVITIES

Heli Skiing

Have you ever dreamed of heli-skiing in the mountains of Canada? Have you ever wondered if you can "heli" snowboard? Have you watched the movies and doubted your ability to do it yourself? Well, if you can handle the "blue" (intermediate) runs at your ski area, then you too CAN experience our fantastic high alpine powder!

We take groups of intermediate, advanced and expert skiers and riders into the amazing mountain terrain that surrounds Whistler Resort. You can heli-ski or heli-board in the powder snow for just one day or go for as many days as your legs will take.

The heli-ski area is made up of several zones and is approximately 50 miles north/south by 30 miles east/west (80km by 50km). Your guide will select terrain within a zone according to snowfall, the weather, and your group's ability.

CLASSIC EXPERIENCE

Package includes:
• 3 runs (approx. 4,500 - 7,500 vertical feet, or 1,400 - 2,300 vertical meters of skiing)
• Designed for intermediate to advanced skiers or boarders
• No powder experience necessary!

ELITE ADVENTURE

Package includes:
• 64 runs (approx. 6,000 - 10,000 vertical feet, or 1,800 - 3,500 vertical meters of skiing)
• Designed for expert skiers or boarders

ULTIMATE EXCURSION

Package includes:
• 6 runs (approx. 9,000 - 15,000 vertical feet. or 2,700 - 4,600 vertical meters of skiing).
• Designed for experts who wish to move quickly and are considering doing extra runs
• Suitable for groups of up to 5 with similar abilities who are looking for a more private experience
• Private photographer available on request
• Custom packages available
• Exceptional Bell 407 Helicopter, seats small groups of 5 people

POWDER FANTASY(Lodge-based)

Whistler Heli-Skiing and Callaghan Country Lodge have teamed up to offer a premium lodge-based skiing & boarding experience for groups of 5, 10 or 15 people.

Package includes:
• 2-nights of accommodation at Callaghan Backcountry Lodge
• 3-days of heli-skiing with a certified ski guide (6 runs / day)
• Return ground transfers from Whistler Village to the helicopter staging area
• Post-skiing helicopter transfers back to the Callaghan Backcountry Lodge
• All meals, snacks and non-alcoholic beverages
• Powder skis or snowboard, powder ski tracers and avalanche transceiver
• Return luggage transfers from Whistler Village
