As for dancing, for some reason i gotta say I likeTommy's ... just cause i think of trying to dance anywhere else and it just doesn't work. As for spinning records/ Dj'ing, i only played the fish, moe joes, and tommys once... again I have to say Tommy's is the best, because of the booth.
And as a dj it's a bomb set-up

Who doesn't enjoy a little people watching while on vacation? You get to checkout what people are wearing, the new and colourful hairstyles that are running rampant, or you might even get to see a Whistler local sporting a tutu and fairy wings with a hulahoop over their shoulder. The point is, everyone likes people watching while sitting down for a beer and getting some appies. Here are some testimonials from the locals on where THEY like to people watch:

People watching can be done all over Whistler but my favorite spot is still Citta`s Patio right in the heart of the village. They have great tables with heaters so you can sit outside any time of the year. If you are in the mood for onion rings, well this is the spot. My other favorites include The Mix at Ric`s patio especially if I`m in the mood for fois gras poutine, beef carpaccio or a gourmet hamburger.

If I`m in creekside then I will go to Dusty`s in the winter after I come down the hill. The place is packed in winter and spring. Good pub food! Also, in summer and winter time, the Longhorn Patio sits at the base of Whistler Mountain and gives you a view of people skiing/ riding or mountain biking down the mountain, it is the biggest patio in the area, you can`t miss it!

Without a doubt it has to be CITTAS. Right in the village square and on the weekends you get to see all the weekenders stumble TO and FROM the liquor store. haha. Oh, and yes, it is pronounced as `chee-tas`, not see-tas!

Mogul's Patio offers an eclectic mix of people both young and old, tourist or local. The patio offers a great view of all 3 main thorough-ways into the Village Square. You can even catch a glimpse of those persons who try to cut through the Grocery Store as they exit the doors!
